CS2 Survival Official Rules

The ultimate 'Last Man Standing' prediction platform for Counter-Strike 2 Major tournaments.

1 Life / Phase

1. Core Concept

Each player starts a phase with 1 life. In each GameRound, you must pick one team you believe will win their matchup.

No-Repeat

2. The No-Repeat Rule

You CANNOT pick the same team twice in the same tournament phase (e.g., if you pick Vitality in Swiss Round 1, Vitality is locked out for you for the remainder of that Group Stage). Team locks reset when entering a new phase!

Life Loss

3. Life Loss and Elimination

If your selected team loses their match, or if you fail to submit a pick before the strict lockTime, you lose 1 life. At 0 lives, you are eliminated for that phase.

Auto Reset

4. Multi-Phase Format & Life Resets

Tournaments are broken down into sequential phases (e.g., Opening Stage, Elimination Stage, Playoffs). Even if eliminated in Phase 1, you AUTOMATICALLY reset to 1 life when Phase 2 begins!

Dynamic Rounds

5. Dynamic GameRounds (Multiple Rounds per Day)

Rounds do not follow calendar days; they follow the dynamic schedule of the tournament (e.g., Swiss Round 1 in the morning, Swiss Round 2 in the afternoon). Each round has its own independent lock countdown.

Standings

6. Leaderboard & Tie-Breakers

Phase rankings are determined by: 1) Survival status (Alive vs Eliminated), 2) Current Win Streak, 3) Total points scored.

💡Concrete Example of a Survival Run

Round 1:

You pick Team Vitality. Vitality defeats The MongolZ. Your pick is correct (+10 pts, streak 1, you retain your life). (Vitality is now locked for you for the remainder of Phase 1).

Round 2:

You cannot pick Vitality anymore. You select Team Spirit. Spirit loses against FaZe. Your pick is incorrect (-1 life, 0 lives remaining). You are eliminated for Phase 1.

Phase 2:

Phase 2 (Playoffs) begins. You automatically receive 1 fresh life, and all teams are unlocked for you again!
